Skills inventory clean-up
complete

Our administrators and content creators noticed that for a specific skill there are different names or terminologies used. For example, artificial intelligence - in the skills selection you can find "artificial intelligence", "Artificial Intelligence (AI)", and "AI" which can get confusing for when an author or creator is assigning skills to a piece of learning. So I think a regular clean-up and updating of the skills inventory should be done to avoid duplication and confusion.

We've started a rolling clean-up of the Skills Library. Duplicate and near-duplicate skills have been merged, names standardized, and outdated entries retired - beginning with the most widely used skills, so the improvement shows up where it matters first. Searching now returns one clear result rather than several variations of the same thing, and recommendations get sharper as a result.
This is ongoing work, not a one-off. We refine the library as roles and capabilities evolve — inside your organization and across the wider market — so it keeps reflecting the work your people actually do, and emerging skills show up when they start to matter.
