Channels should be filterable

Within a Channel - especially those that are regularly used - there should be a filter to find different types of content. For example, a course, a lesson, a nugget or a keyword search. There is too much noise in here sometimes and it stops people from finding the content they need.

Hi everybody
You'll be pleased to know that this is something we're actively planning to improve with a major redesign of Channels - expect more information to come out about this very soon :D

Hey folks,
We are planning to make some changes to the way that Channels work in the future. This'll allow you to use Channels to create dedicate spaces relevant to topics, teams or initiatives. It'll also allow you to add moderators to manage the content that feeds into these Channels and make content discoverability much easier.
This, in tandem with improvements to the way that content availability and assignment work, will give you much more freedom over how your knowledge is shared internally.
Please keep your eyes peeled for upcoming improvements over the next few months!

And being able to "pin" key content would be supremely helpful here

Alfie from HowNow Just need an easy way to check for completed assessments in one channel. For example - Dashboard >> Content >> Assessments. Allow me to filter results so that only content in a selected channel is shown here.

Hey folks! I really like this idea.
I'm also keen to make sure we're adding the best value possible to your employees and learners.
- How would you like to be able to filter Channels? (Date? content type? duration? provider? Source?)
- Do you think it would be useful to be able to search for content in each channel?
Any other suggestions or ideas based on your individual use cases?

Alfie from HowNow: For us, it would be completed/non completed so they can see which content hasnt been seen yet. Also to sort it (rather than filter) based on newest to oldest would be good.

I was missing filtering on status to see content which hasn't been seen yet. And then sorting is also missing. Just hygiene factors that you expect would be there really.

Alfie from HowNow: My answer is yes to both your suggestions. I think the filtering within Channels is great and within search results. and being able to filter on on providers; source etc are super helpful.

+1 channels are absolute chaos. There needs to be some sort of way to organise the information

It would also be nice to be able to pin content in a separate container/area and have the possibility to prioritize the order. It could be a prioritization 1,2,3...etc. or by most viewed, most likes etc.
