Ability to reschedule events/live classes
complete

At this moment it's not possible to reschedule an event or live class. You need to cancel the booking, add a new time slot, and then people need to book themselves on the new time slot manually (auto-enrol function does not work). This is a very time consuming and painful process and it also allows for people 'forgetting', as auto-enrol doesn't work. It would be great if we can reschedule the existing time slot with all its existing attendees.

Off the back of calendar sync, this is a feature we are soon planning to rollout.
It's not an easy one - we have to take into consideration recurring events, timeslots, repeated sessions, integrations and calendar types and also learner numbers - that's why it's taken a short while to implement.
But - it's on the way ;)

Edit event timings after people have booked

We often need to edit event time which learners are already attending.
The only current way to change event times is to cancel the event (which sends a confusing message to the user).
It would be great if contributors had the option to emend the event time, which then sends an alert out to everyone has booked.

Yes, I was about to request this exact feature! This is a pretty urgent one for my team

Hi All,
This is definitely something that's been requested for a while, and may take some pretty hefty work on our side!
One of the challenges we face here is the assumption that everyone who's previously booked into an Event/Live Class will automatically be available for the rescheduled session
This is definitely something we're exploring for the future but it'll take some digging into the backend to make it happen!

Alfie from HowNow: Hi Alfie. I was about to log this but I see it's been requested more than once. This shouldn't really be a problem if the person gets a notification about the changed time, even maybe with an option to cancel. The fact is, the event is being moved anyway so if current enrollees cannot make the new time, they won't attend. The way it's currently done is just more painful for admin and users alike.

With the current climate, we definitely want to be able to easily reschedule events if we ever have an unfortunate situation of the future physical events being affected by covid.

A very very needed feature! Great suggestion.

would also be good if the notification that was sent out confirming the time change also confirmed that all learners have been re-booked to the new session and a link/option to cancel was included
